Most Montague property sales in late July carried no disclosed price

Twelve property deeds were recorded in Montague between July 24 and Aug. 22, but only four listed a sale price, ranging from $28,955 to $248,000 with a median of $120,290 among those four. The period's top disclosed sale was 100 Taylor Hill Road at $248,000, sold July 27 by Margaret M. Aubrey and Margaret M. Ducharme to PeoplesBank. Financial institutions, including credit unions, a bank and mortgage lenders, appeared as buyer or seller in six of the 12 deeds. With eight of 12 transfers carrying no disclosed price, the available data offers limited insight into overall market pricing for the period.
