Montague Records 16 Property Transfers, but Sale Prices Disclosed in Only Two
Montague recorded 16 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only two deeds disclosed a sale price: $75,000 for 42 Montague St and $265,000 for 13 Coolidge Ave, the period's top sale. Based on those two figures, the price range was $75,000 to $265,000 with a median of $170,000, though that reflects just 2 of 16 transactions. Millers Falls Road and Center Street each saw two transfers. Several deeds reflect family or trust reorganizations, and bank names appear as both seller and buyer in multiple transactions. With disclosed pricing so limited, the data does not support a clear read on whether the market favored buyers or sellers this period.
