Montague Home Sales Show Modest Price Range in August, With Many Transfers Undisclosed
Seventeen deeds were recorded in Montague between July 31 and Aug. 29, 2026, though only four of those transactions carried disclosed sale prices. Among the four disclosed sales, prices ranged from $100,000 to $178,500, with a median of $125,000. The month's top transaction was 23 Grout Cir. at $178,500, with Rocket Mortgage LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. listed as buyers. With financial institutions appearing in roughly half of all recorded deeds, a significant portion of August's transfers appear tied to institutional or loan-related activity rather than conventional home sales, making a clear read on market conditions difficult.
