Montague deed filings show wide price range, most sales undisclosed
Montague recorded 14 property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only three deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $65,000 to $300,000 with a median of $100,000. The top disclosed sale was 62 Seventh St. at $300,000, sold by Jaime Ann Young to Greenfield Savings Bank. Hillside Road and Old Stage Road each saw two transfers during the period. A bank or credit union was named as buyer or seller in 10 of the 14 deeds. Most transfers -- 11 of 14 -- did not include a disclosed sale price, limiting the scope of price-trend analysis for the month.
